During harvest, boxes must be continuously moved across the plot, an operation requiring time, physical effort, and the use of auxiliary vehicles or equipment. Furthermore, conventional procedures can result in a loss of information regarding product origin, hinder batch traceability, and compromise fruit quality.

LOADFRU replaces manual and uncoordinated fruit-box transport with an autonomous, connected and traceable logistics system. Smart carts, mobile robots and a central control station work together to reduce physical effort, optimise routes, protect fruit quality and record each harvested batch from the field to the collection point.
